What is Morgellons?

People with this disorder find spirals and specks of metal under their skin. It causes them great discomfort to the point they will dig and pick for hours to remove a fiber barely visible zoomed in photographed. 


They think there are also animal parts or insect pieces inside of them broken down and coming to the surface of the skin. 




This disorder used to be thought of as a delusional parasite. Medical researchers now know that people with Morgellons are commonly afflicted with a virus similar to Lymes diseases or tick borne illness. 


Have you ever had a loved one suffer from Morgellons? How do you think you’d react if a loved one came down with a disorder like this that is uncommon? It seems like one of the most terrifying diseases a person could get and deeply traumatic to have such an unusual disorder.

Are Obese Moms More Likely to Have Kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder?      Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is an early neurodevelopmental disorder marked by impairments in social communication and the presence of restricted interests and repetitive behaviors. Approximately 1 in 52 children in the United States has been diagnosed with ASD. With a diagnosis of ASD being four times more likely to occur in boys. In 2000, only 1 in 150 children in the U.S. was diagnosed with ASD.
